i Family and Friends.....
I know its been a while since I updated the site.  Sorry, but its been a busy year.  I am in the process of redesigning the website, just taking a little longer than I thought.   Check back soon.

just want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and Holiday Season.
Love ya
Tina

Greetings,
my name is Tina Olivier Lation.  My husband, Raymond  and I live in southwest Louisiana in a small rural community named  "Grand Marais,"   located in Iberia Parish, between New Iberia and Jeanerette.

There are bayous, sugarcane fields, festivals for every occasion, culinary treats that will excite your taste buds, coupled with music and fun, and most importantly, family life.

It is our pleasure  that you decided to visit our family's homepage.   This in an ongoing project, and as important events occur in our family, we will make every effort to keep you informed.

To our family and friends who live away, hopefully this can help you stay in touch with what's going on in the "GM".  God Bless.

More than anything else,
I want you to know how
great My love is for you.
It goes beyond your human understanding,
but you can grasp the reality
of My love as you read
My Word and consider all
that I have done.
As you are filled with
My love,
you will enjoy your life
to the fullest.

Thank you Cargill.  The families of the deceased miners recently petitioned Cargill for financial assistance to restore the gravesite of the five miners.  Cargill Deicing Technology  generously agreed to provide up to $10,000 towards the restoration project!

On Father's Day, 2008, the family gathered at St. Nicholas' cemetery, to pose for a picture to send to Cargill, expressing our deep appreciation.  Our family is truly blessed by Cargill's gift of kindness and the gratitude they brought to our hearts.  "Ask and you shall receive."

Family and Friends....join me in prayer for Skye Bergeron, who departed this earthly life and was lifted into heaven as one of God's newest little angels on April 3, 2011.

Skye is the son of our cousin, Jesse Bergeron (Alecia Boutte's son). While it may appear Skye struggled with his illness in his short life on earth, he was also creating memories of his strength, courage and true love to share and remain here with his family. To our brave little solider...Rest In Peace Sweetie!

Mardi Gras!
Tradition, family, friends and fun = A GOOD TIME!
It's been a few years since I attended one of the traditional Mardi Gras dances at Moni Ami.  I'm here to tell you, the event did not disappoint.  It was fabulous.  I took the opportunity to capture pictures of the event, along with other activities, including a Slab Party and annual Mardi Gras Parade.   Click link below to view pictures in my photoalbum.
